What is Infernalism
Infernalism is a religion which recognizes “Darkness as absolute”and phenomenas as manifestations of magic. Encompassing many occult practices and sciences, Yet separates itself from common religious beliefs, rituals and practices. It exists in contrast to monotheistic religions, as it polytheistic and practices distinct forms of pantheism. A good example of this can be Satan, Lilith or the 72 demons mentioned in the Ars Goetia. As these entities are said to hold distinct ranks and powers in the underworld. The Roman and Greek empires also believed in pantheism, not allowing all powers to be attributed to a single deity. While Infernalism acknowledges Darkness as the principal cause of all things, it also accredits distinct entities as fundamental in the pursuit of occult knowledge. And so Infernalism is the exploration, study and application of occult crafts, it is not limited to specific cultural deities, spirits, demons or messengers. But rather acknowledges the spiritual and the supernatural as levels we must experience, in order to achieve a more profound degree of knowledge.
Religion and or spirituality has been translated and ramified into levels, according to cultural literacy. Infernalism recognizes the nexus of contemporary religions and historical accounts. Whether by similarities or plagiarism, many ancient accounts have a similar if not identical storyline. For thousands of years the worship of solar deities and have plagued humanity and continue to do so to this day. This religious belief has not gone away, but rather has transformed itself and has been forced upon humanity at different levels of society. Solar deities while they can be governed and used for beneficial purposes, remain subject to their place of origin, that is “Darkness”. While Darkness is the principal cause of all things, it is only logical to have intermediates between the immortal and mortal. It is a dividing factor which affords existence a structure, enables contrast and provides a sense of balance.
Because of this, those who believe in the infernal teachings, identify as infernalists. A infernalist is a person who acknowledges Darkness as absolute, phenomena as a manifestation of magic and intermediates such as gods and demons as part and parcel of balanced existence.

Satanism in its most logical sense echoes a founder and following system similar to Christ and Christianity, Buddha and Buddhism. While we all know that Satanism was not authored by Satan himself. Many see Satan as the center of its belief system.
The difference between infernalism and atheistic Satanism, is that Satan maintains a status and role within infernal philosophy.

Infernalism is distinct from satanism, as satanism denies, rejects the existence of the supernatural. While infernalists acknowledge that we ourselves our supernatural, that we are a phenomena, therefore the supernatural must exist. If not we are denying that we ourselves exist.
All people are born infernalists. That is we are born out of darkness, visit darkness and return to darkness. Infernalism offers each individual, advocacy, community with like minded individuals and endarkenment, the knowledge of the occult.
Infernalists are satanists but identify as infernalists, because we have distinct philosophical views than traditional satanism. And because we have our own bible, which guides us to understand ourselves and spirituality better.
Infernalists do not worship Satan in the sense of bowing down to him as a god. But rather through imagery, ritual, and acknowledgement through certain ceremonies which are part of our beliefs and practices. Worshipping something does not necessarily entail that it is superior to you or that you are subject to it. But rather worshipping is a gesture of saluting individual action and applauding the effort.
The benefit of identifying as a infernalist, is that you are representing your true nature and a religious organization which supports a free and just world. Being a infernalist has many benefits, for those who are alone, community and family. For those who feel outcasted a sense of pride and acceptance. For those who are liberal a congregation that stands for the freedoms of all. And for those who have been mislead a perspective by which to visualize all things.
All people are born infernalists, therefore membership is free. All people have the right to buy and live by the infernal philosophy as written in the infernal bible. The I.C.O.S does not charge membership fees, while we do charge for certification for all voluntary pledged members.
While the I.C.O.S has no active political campaigns, we are not against campaigning for a cause. There is enough abortion, gun, freedom of speech ,anti-racism campaigns around the world. Making it unnecessary for our religious organization to have to do so also. We are not closed minded therefore we can offer support to existing campaigns of our choice. And still make a statement and change through a third party voice.That is not to imply that we are unwilling to undertake our own political campaigns, we will do so when necessary.
Infernalists can be found anywhere, in any city, at any place of employment. Infernalism is a board religious system which creates the perfect atmosphere for meeting like minded people. While many of our members and followers derive from goth and sub-goth cultures you can find active infernalists in all walks of life.
